The speed limit on Merton Road, and sections of the Ploughley Road, Blackthorn Road and The Water Meadows was reduced to 20 MPH on the 13 March 2023 in an effort to reduce speeding.
Other sections of the Ploughley Road and Blackthorn Road remain at 30 MPH.
Thames Valley Police cannot legally enforce speeding on any of the 15mph roads in Ambrosden.
The Parish Council is very aware of residents concerns about speeding, and will provide updates on any traffic plans as and when they become available. Please do contact the clerk via email (clerk@ambrosdenpc.org.uk) with any questions.
The Parish Council is responsible for the YSI device on the Merton Road (which was installed in July 2021). The data will be downloaded every three months and will be available on this page:
